Ebay Auctions

Reece's Rainbow has begun to auction items on Ebay as a way to raise grant funds for waiting orphans. Reece's Rainbow will be listing their auctions under Mission Fish. If you are interested in selling items please contact Laurie at skovie36@aol.com and ask how you can get started. If you are interested in purchasing items from their auctions visit Mission Fish to view the current auctions. Our family has donated name-brand children's clothing to build up 3 waiting children's adoption funds. These children are Freddie, Chrystyna, and Karen.

Freddie

Boy, Born June 4, 1995

Freddie is an amazing little boy who needs a chance to have a loving family. He struggles with a mild form of epilepsy, but it is on medication each day that has been successful in controlling it. He is living in a regular orphanage for typical children, although normally a child with this "disability" would be sent to an institution. He is an orphanage favorite, and the director there wants him to have a family so badly.

Freddie is a beautiful boy with dark hair and brown eyes. He is calm and friendly and affectionate and very very smart. His mother died when he was only 3, and his father's rights were terminated in 2006, so he so desperately needs a mommy and a daddy who will never leave him.

From our missionary who has visited him and assisted with child hosting programs from his orphanage recently: "

I'm hosting other kids from his orphanage and visit with him all the time. Unfortunately, this is not the first hosting we're doing from this orphanage and we were not able to find a family to host him because of his epilepsy. I went to his orphanage the other day again to take new photos and chat with the director - and Freddie took me out by the hand and asked "why do other kids go to U.S. and get adopted and me not - is it because I have epilepsy?" And tears came to his eyes.... and I thought I will kill or die but to find a family for him. I changed the subject and we talked about other things and he struck me again by being so smart and logical. He is just a great boy and I really hope you can help find a family for him. I have not given his info to anybody except my hosting partner agency, and they pretty much told me that they won't be able to host him and I need to find somebody to adopt him. Other children love him and take special care of him. The director went on about that I almost cried when she said: Its amazing how all kids in our orphanage help him. He had a seizure once and another boy put his own hand into Freddie's mouth to make sure he does not bite off his tongue
This incredible little boy needs you!!! Please adopt him before he ages out and can't be adopted any longer!

Chrystyna

Girl, Born January 17, 2002

SIGNIFICANT RISK, PLEASE ADOPT ME SOON!!

Chrystyna is a beautiful, brown haired, brown eyed girl who deserves a chance at a better life! Her official orphanage papers say she has developmental delays/difficulties from birth, but nothing more specific than that. It is possible she has FAS (Fetal Alcohol Syndrome). Her biological mother was deprived her parental rights in December 2004, and the biological father is not known. Chrystyna has so much potential, and will be a precious gift to any family who adopts her.

Chrystyna is already living in an institution, so we need a family for her right away!

Chrystyna does have a sister. Her name is Karen and she is listed on our siblings page. She does not have any diagnosed special needs. If you are interested in adopting both girls, you can do so, or Chrystyna is free to be adopted separately. Please inquire!

UPDATE: God has been watching Chrystyna. She was recently transferred out of the institution into a wonderful facility, where they teach these children, work with them, and they appear very well cared for. The difference in the few girls who were transferred OUT of the institution is incredible! Please give these girls a second chance for a loving family!

If you are unfamiliar with FAS, please spend some time researching this condition. Just as with Down syndrome, FAS and FAE have a wide variation of effects on each child, both medically, physically, and cognitively. This is typically dependent on how long during the pregnancy the mother consumed alcohol, and of course, how much. There is no way to know this ahead of time.

Karen

Girl, Born January 12, 1996

SIGNIFICANT RISK, PLEASE ADOPT ME SOON!!

Karen is the older, biological sister of Chrystyna, listed below. She is a beautiful Roma girl with dark hair, dark eyes, and olive skin. She is 13 years old. She is healthy and smart and has no diagnosed special needs. She goes to school and has no negative behavioral issues. She is just a teen in need of a loving family!

Karen and Chrystyna are living in different orphanages, but in the same region. It would be wonderful if they could be adopted together, but our facilitator says it may be possible to adopt them separately. If you might be seeking a sibling set, please inquire! Both girls need a loving family!

Requirements for these children are all the same. For an additional child it is an extra $4,000.

Married couples only may apply
No more than 45 years between parent and child
No stated family size restrictions
Total with travel approx $24k
Both parents for 2 1/2 weeks to attend court
Both parents return home for 3 weeks
Only one parent must return to complete the adoption for approx 14 days

Please consider saving these children before it is too late. If you would like more information about these children or any other children on Reece's Rainbow contact Andrea Roberts at bamaroberts@comcast.net or visit http://www.reecesrainbow.org.
